  Apostille is to legalize a document under Apostille Convention enforced on Jan. 24, 1965. 1.24 by confirming the authenticity of the official seal or signature affixed on the document. If you need to obtain a country's certification of a document that was issued in another country, it is required to get the certification of apostille from the corresponding country's relevant authorities.
